Getting Around The Strip
If you’re staying on the Strip, you'll easily be able to walk between most hotels, and for longer journeys all hotels, on the strip and off, will have attended taxi stands as well as designated Uber/Lyft drop-off and pickup areas.
Getting Around Off Strip
Much like the Strip all the hotels we've recommended will have attended taxi stands as well as designated Uber/Lyft drop-off and pickup areas. The hotel concierges can also help arrange transportation if needed. If you plan on renting a car and driving, staying off-strip is a good bet as many of these hotels offer free parking and or valet service.
You can travel along the East side of the Strip using the Monorail. This tram runs the length of the strip from Sahara to the MGM Grand and $5.50 for a single ride or you can get multi-day passes starting at $13.

All Vegas taxis offer flat rate fares to and from the airport. The flat-rate fare from the Strip is usually around $20–$25 (plus any additional fees or tips). Depending on traffic, this ride can take about 10-15 minutes.
If you're staying Downtown the flat-rate fare is generally around $25–$30 (plus any additional fees or tips), and travel time can range from 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic
Hotel Shuttles
Many hotels, especially those off the Strip or at the airport, offer free shuttle services to major attractions or shopping centers, so check with your hotel to see if they provide this option.
